    Welcome to Enitan Counseling and Coaching Services. We are thrilled to have you! Enitan Counseling and Coaching Services is a private practice that provide services to individuals and families impacted by trauma. Our goal at Enitan Counseling and Coaching services is to educate individuals, families, and the communities on the impact of trauma through education, process and implementation of skills to address and decrease trauma symptoms.

    ​Enitan Counseling prides itself on being trauma informed and skilled in trauma. Marie Vernal, founder and therapist is trained and certified in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR),  Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Brainspotting which are trauma informed therapeutic modalities used to work with individuals and survivors impacted by trauma. I am a qualified supervisor providing supervision for registered social work interns in the state of Florida.

    Marie Vernal is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker born in Miami and raised in New York City. She received her bachelors degree from CUNY College of Staten Island in 2010 and obtained her masters degree at Adelphi University in 2015. Marie enjoys working with adolescents and young adults and specializes in trauma work. Marie is an advocate for mental health and understands how delicate trauma work is. Marie is also a trauma survivor and is passionate about educating and providing trauma work to individuals and families impacted by trauma. Marie is patient, supportive, empathetic and understands the importance of building a therapeutic rapport and relationship to heal. Enitan in Yoruba, a Nigerian dialect means, YOUR STORY. Marie created Enitan Counseling and Coaching Services to provide a safe and secure place where individuals can tell their story without judgement or ridicule. For many, trauma is unspoken and people are silenced. At Enitan, you are allowed to tell your story and you are allowed to heal.


    Von’Shea Banks is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with a passion for helping and healing. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2017 from the University of Phoenix and obtained her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville University in 2020. Von’Shea’s passion for mental health began at a very young age and she has advocated for mental wellness throughout her life. She approaches mental health with unconditional positive regard and compassion.

    When she takes off her therapist hat, she dedicates time to her family and loved ones. She enjoys life by practicing mindfulness daily, dancing with her daughters and spending time with nature as often as possible.
