• Brainspotting

Brainspotting (BSP) is a type of therapy designed to help people access, process, and overcome trauma, and negative emotions. The direction in which you look or gaze can affect the way you feel. During brainspotting, your therapist helps you position your eyes in ways that enable you to target the sources of your negative emotion. With the aid of a pointer, your trained brainspotting therapist slowly guide the eyes of people in therapy across their field of vision to find appropriate “brainspots,” with a brainspot being an eye position that activates a traumatic memory or painful emotion, your therapist will allow you to process your feelings and emotions through dual attunement.
